Last Saturday found us heading slightly north to Crackington Haven near Bude. Why?.............we were off to look at some Cairn terrier puppies. Anne had been searching for several months for a puppy and was very excited when she saw the ad in the local paper. The intention was to get a little girl but ...................

..........meet Paddy - a little boy - with his proud Daddy!!

Aren't I clever climbing the stairs but how do I get down?

Mel's hair is thinning but this toupe is a bit ridiculous - don't you think?

Sunny skies and temperatures just into double figures .......... Spring must be here and so is my sister Jean and my nephew Jamie. We met them in Newquay for a drink, and took Paddy to the pub for the first time.

I'm the baby of the family but can you see the family likeness!

Nephew Jamie
We have enjoyed the last couple of days showing Jean and Jamie a little bit of Cornwall. Today we went into Falmouth and then across to one of our favourite places - St.Ives. There were lots of people about enjoying the early Spring sunshine. Fish and chips were on the menu for lunch and we sat on the harbour to eat them - watching out for the notoriously aggressive seagulls always ready and waiting to snatch a quick meal.
